Beginners Edge Sports Training, LLC better known as B.E.S.T. has been operating in Arizona for over 4 years and is owned and operated by Coach Mitch and his wife Dawn Marie (the real boss).
In 2005 B.E.S.T. began with SoccerTots, which is a Nationally recognized soccer program for youth with locations in over 42 states. A year later B.E.S.T. brought on another National program called Lil Sluggers Baseball. Our most recent addition is SlamDunkerz Basketball and it continues to grow in popularity. Soon to be launched (in March 2010) is Blitz’em Football. Tot Kwon Do will follow suit and soon thereafter our Cheer Program will be added to our list of amazing offerings.
We are the only Arizona Company delivering high quality, non-competitive, skill based sports programs for kids as young as 18 months old at an amazing price! B.E.S.T. is expanding not only its programs being offered we are also expanding our age ranges for all of our programs. By late 2010, all programs will span from 2 to under 13!
B.E.S.T. will always put FUN first! For kids under 3.5 years old the classes are more of a child development program focusing on children’s fine and gross motor skills, physical fitness, and self-confidence. For the older children the skills of the sports will be introduced more and more frequently and progressions will be added as the children get older and are to handle ore complex activities. Scrimmaging will be introduced as well as they gain a better understanding about the sport.
B.E.S.T. offers structured classes with paid and trained instructors. We DO NOT EVER use volunteers. We expect a lot from our Coaches to make your experience the best it can possibly be – we expect the BEST and nothing less.
